I’m so excited about the Release of the first book of the Miss LiV Adventures series, The Unwitting Journeys of the Witty Miss Livingstone: Journey Key! And as I celebrate the big day, I’m reminded of another celebration.
My friend Jeffrey Cook had a great Launch Party for his regency era adventure novel, Dawn of Steam: First Light. Looking back, I realize it was that day Miss Livingstone’s character was truly born.
In addition to that inspiration, I am grateful to Jeffrey for many things. He’s been an incredible support to FreeValley Publishing and has given much to make it a successful and fulfilling venture for us all. And he’s welcomed NW authors, including myself, to many events – my favorites: Norwescon and Captial Indie Book Con.
But I’d like to thank him especially for freely sharing a part of his story-world with Miss Livingstone’s journeys. Her adventure on Jeffrey’s dirigible, Dame Fortuna, in Book I was my favorite part to write, and I think it will be one of the best parts for readers as well.
Thanks, Jeff! You’re a fine gentleman, and best of all, a wonderful friend…Cheers!
very well said! congrats to you both!
