Escape in the morning would be difficult, with the hullabaloo of preparation for Father’s birthday, but I was determined to find a way.”

So I don’t usually read on Smashwords, do you have a Kindle or will Smashwords load to a Kindle? How would we trade? My Kindle is only 2.99. Do you have something for about that price?

Hmm, well I suppose I should read your first book first, so I think I’d like that one. Smashwords allows one to download in pdf or epub version, whichever suits you best if you’re downloading the sample. I could email you a word.doc copy of my novel, which works on ereaders as well 🙂

You can actually start with this one and it will make sense, but if you prefer to trade to read the first one and review it, that would be fine. Uhm, do your books have blood/violence in them? I’m sorry, I forgot to ask, but I am very sensitive to that and can’t read or watch any. And take your time to read it! I don’t mind 🙂

There’s no violence that’s played out at all graphically. There’s a swordfight, but nothing is described in detail, just pinned against the helm. Miss Liv does hit someone with her parasol during the melee. That sort of thing. It’s a very tame book full of adventure and romance but not gritty or graphic.
